Founded in 1682, Norfolk is a waterfront city in Southeastern Virginia. Home to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, more than 15 different stations and has around 80,000 active military personnel stationed here. Although known mostly as a Navy town, recently Norfolks’ food and art scene have exploded, creating an eclectic, vibrant, and urban city along Virginia's historic waterways.
